How to Start an AI Girlfriend Chat: First-Chat Walkthrough
A step-by-step walkthrough of a first AI girlfriend chat on OnlyFap: choosing a character, signing in, the five free messages, what happens at the edge of the free run, and what a message costs afterwards.

If you want to start an AI girlfriend chat on OnlyFap, the short version is: open the Chat tab, pick a character, sign in, and write. There is nothing to download. What is worth knowing before you do is what the first five minutes look like, which messages are free, and the moment the chat starts asking for a plan. This walkthrough follows a first chat step by step, using what the live site does in October 2026. For the bigger picture, see the AI girlfriend chat overview.
Everyone must be 18 or older, and every character on the site is an adult. The site asks you to confirm your age when you arrive.
Before you start an AI girlfriend chat
You need a browser and one of three ways to sign in: Telegram, Google, or an email address (the site emails you a code). You do not need an account to look around: the roster, the profiles and the Buzz feed are open to everyone, and you only sign in when you press “Message”.
Plan on spending a few minutes choosing. The roster is 38 characters, 36 of them women, plus one man and one couple, so it pays to read before you pick.
Step 1: Open the Chat tab and choose someone
Go to the Chat tab. Under the tab you will see two sections, Chats (your conversations, and the roster below them) and Buzz (a feed of short open clips). The roster shows 24 characters at first; tap “Show more” for the rest. Newer characters carry a “New” badge.
Each card has a job and a one-line hook. A few from the current roster: Mira, a wedding photographer who “hides her best work”; Alina, “shy for two messages. Then there’s no stopping her”; Wren, a horror streamer; Yuki, a pastry chef with bone-dry humour. If you want a man or a couple, they are Nico and Kira and Lou. The character spotlight goes deeper on six of them.
Step 2: Read her profile
Tap a card to open her profile. It shows her name and age, a short bio, personality tags, interests, and an album of photos and videos with the counts. Most album frames are blurred and locked at 10 credits each; a few are open. You do not have to buy anything to read a profile, and looking costs nothing.
Two buttons matter here: “Message her” starts a chat, and “Generate” starts the video tools. For a first chat, press “Message her”.
Step 3: Sign in
Pressing “Message her” as a guest opens the sign-in window with three options: Telegram, Google, or email plus a verification code. A new account normally gets 20 welcome credits (accounts opened repeatedly from the same browser or the same inbox do not). Those credits open locked photos and videos, but, as the next step explains, they do not pay for messages unless you have bought something.
If your account is linked to Telegram, the site can also send you a Telegram note when a character writes first.
Step 4: Your first room
When the room opens, a small card usually asks two things: what she should call you, and how she should be with you. You choose one of four moods: playful, tender, bold or shy. Pick one or tap “Just chat” to skip. The name goes into her memory.
Below the card you may see three suggested openers. Mira’s, for example, include “Still up editing?” and “What did you burn for dinner tonight?”. You can tap one or type your own. She writes back in the language you use, and if you switch language mid-conversation she follows.
A few habits make the conversation better:
- Be specific. She picks up facts from what you say: your name, your work, where you live, what you like. Specific details give her something to remember and ask about later.
- Correct her. If she gets something wrong, say so. The memory panel also lets you edit or delete anything she noted.
- Pin what matters. “Remember this” on a message pins it into her memory, within your plan’s limit (3 pins per character with no plan, 6 on Basic).
- Use “Another take”. If a reply misses, ask for a different one. After the free run an extra take can cost a credit, and the button shows the price.
Step 5: The free run, and what happens at its edge
Your first five messages are free. That is five per account in total, across all characters, and it does not reset daily. Rooms are free to open.
If you have never bought anything, this is the sequence:
| Message | What you see |
|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | Ordinary replies |
| 4 | Her reply is followed by a grid of what each plan opens |
| 5 (the last free message) | Her reply often ends with a blurred private frame she is holding back |
| 6 | She asks you, in character, to pick a plan to go on, with the plans shown under her reply |
| 7 | The chat shows a plan sheet instead of answering |
The plan sheet inside the chat sells Basic, which is $9.99 for a month as of October 2026, and brings 300 credits. You can compare Basic, Pro and VIP on the plans page. Checkout opens in a second tab, and the chat waits and picks up when the plan is active.
If you pick a plan, the limit goes away. If you do not, you can keep reading profiles and watching Buzz, and you can still open locked frames with your welcome credits at 10 credits each.
Step 6: Credits, plans and what a message costs
After the free run, a message costs 1 credit. Credits come from a plan: Basic gives 300 a month, Pro 700 and VIP 1,500. Credit packs are available to subscribers only, from 350 credits for $16.99.
| Plan (monthly, October 2026) | Price | Credits | Chat extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $9.99 | 300 | Her private photos and videos, templates on request |
| Pro | $16.99 | 700 | Making videos in the chat, longer memory, she writes first |
| VIP | $32.99 | 1,500 | HD and VIP templates, the longest memory |
Longer terms cost less per month. A plan is a single payment for one term; it does not renew by itself. Card and crypto checkouts show a higher total than the list price (a month of Basic is $13.99 by card and $12.00 in crypto), so read the amount on the payment page. Payments are not refundable, apart from rights the law gives you. Read the terms if you want the exact wording.
One thing to know about credits: if you have no active plan and spend nothing for 30 days, your balance is frozen until you buy a plan. Nothing is deleted.
When something goes wrong
- “Moderation held this message back.” Nothing was charged and your text is still in the box. Reword it and send again.
- “Her reply was interrupted.” Try again, or use “Another take”.
- “Not so fast.” You hit a flood limit. Wait the number of seconds shown.
- “Not available in your region.” The service is blocked in some countries and one US state. Nothing on your account is affected.
- Payment pending. Finish the payment in the tab that opened. If it stays pending, write to support; there is a Support link in the footer.

Once you are in, the overview explains memory, she-writes-first, photos, your own photo and “Rate me”.
